Consul General Mary Jennifer Domingo Dingal Calls on
Hon. Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Coordinating Minister for
Legal Affairs, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections
Manado, Indonesia, 19 December 2025 - Consul General Mary Jennifer Domingo Dingal paid a courtesy call on Hon. Yusril Ihza Mahendra, Coordinating Minister for Legal Affairs, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections, on 18 December 2025 in Jakarta, Indonesia, to discuss matters of mutual interest between the Philippines and Indonesia.
During the visit, Consul General Dingal also met with Mr. Agato P. P. Simamora, Deputy Assistant for Coordination of Immigration Service Strategy of the Coordinating Ministry for Legal Affairs, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections (Immigration Division), and Mr. Arief Munandar, S.H., Director for Immigration Cooperation and Representative Development of the Directorate General of Immigration.
The discussions underscored continued cooperation on the welfare of Filipinos in Indonesia and the importance of close coordination between the Philippine Consulate General in Manado and Indonesian partner agencies.
The courtesy calls highlighted the strong and enduring ties between the Philippine Consulate General in Manado and Indonesian institutions within its jurisdiction, as well as the mutual commitment to sustained cooperation and constructive engagement.END
