Manado PCG Awarded with Certificate of Merit from the
Ministry of Immigration and Correction Affairs in North Sulawesi
Manado, Indonesia, 19 November 2025 - Manado PCG awarded with a Certificate of Merit along with counterparts organized by the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration in North Sulawesi on 19 November 2025 at Taman Kesatuan Bangsa, Manado City.
The event formed part of the commemoration of the 1st Anniversary of the Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Affairs, and gathered key government leaders and institutional partners who have supported immigration-related initiatives in the province.
Consul General Mary Jennifer D. Dingal, who received the award on behalf of Manado PCG, was among the awardees recognized for its contribution in affirming citizenship status and verifying Persons of Filipino Descent in North Sulawesi. The recognition recognizes the continued and successful collaboration between the Manado PCG and Indonesian authorities in ensuring the appropriate documentation and welfare of PFDs in the region.
Other awardees included:
- Government of North Sulawesi Province;
- Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia – North Sulawesi Representative Office;
- Government of Bitung City;
- Government of Manado City;
- Government of Tomohon City; and
- Angkasa Pura I (Sam Ratulangi International Airport).
Manado PCG expressed its appreciation to the leadership of Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration for the recognition and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with Indonesian institutions in support of shared goals in efficient and effective public service.END
