Manado PCG Participates in South Sulawesi Investment Forum and Anging Mammiri Business Fair 2025
Manado, Indonesia, 19 November 2025 - The Philippine Consulate General in Manado, represented by Consul General Mary Jennifer Domingo Dingal, participated in the South Sulawesi Investment Forum and Anging Mammiri Business Fair 2025 held on 12–13 November 2025 in Makassar City. The event carried the theme “Empowering Green Economic Investment from Local Champions to Global Vision.”
The delegation attended the opening ceremony, which featured remarks from the Governor of South Sulawesi and the Head of the Bank Indonesia Regional Representative Office. Also present were representatives from foreign missions, government agencies, and the business sector. The ceremony included the signing of investment projects, export agreements, and letters of intent with partners from Malaysia, China, Japan, India, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Australia, Russia, the Netherlands, and among others.
During the Business-to-Business meetings, the Consulate engaged with government and private sector counterparts to explore investment opportunities in the following priority areas such as Rice Milling Industry in East Luwu, Commercial and Hospitality Development in the City of Parepare, Tourism Development in Selayar and Pasi Gusung Selatan, Agri-Waste Bioethanol Industry and the Yasiberui Shipyard Industry.
