The Philippine Consulate General in Manado provides limited notarial services primarily for Filipinos abroad pursuant to existing Philippine jurisprudence and regulations of the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Notarial functions include the administration of oaths and affirmations, execution of affidavits, depositions and other documents to be used in the jurisdiction of the Republic of the Philippines, including receiving proof and acknowledgment of writing related to commerce and navigation, private acts and deeds.
Clients shall bring their own documents for notarization (and copies thereof) as consular officers and consulate staff will not be able to assist clients in drafting legal documents, drawing wills, powers of attorney, affidavits, deeds and other legal instruments. Sample templates for common legal instruments are available for reference in the 'Downloads' section of this web site for customization and editing.
When submitting documents for notarization, clients must ensure that it should be properly accomplished.
